I just picked up an 04 SRT-4 and want to add some suspension bits. Im not looking for over steer or anything, but i would like some better handling. The car is used as a daily driver, but i don't care much about the quality of the ride. I don't care what anyone else thinks (girlfriend included) either, its not their car. I was looking around on the net and saw a nice Progress coilover kit at andysautosport.com it runs the same price as mopar stage 3. Is this suspension good or worthless? Also i was thinking about putting the progress font and rear sway bars on, there larger (not by much) than the mopar ones. Is it necessary to put on a larger front one or just a larger rear? I drive hard but we have bad roads in northern ohio and hard driving around a turn on a bumpy road is a bit unnerving. Are the parts that Progress makes for the SRT-4 good, i recognize the name and know that there parts work good on other applications, please help me out. I don't want to put a full urethane bushing kit on the car, yet, i just want to put on some parts that work damn good. Also do carbon fiber parts (hoods ect.) get ruined by salt from the roads in the winter? Thanks a lot.

well i personally nerve have messed with progress products, but i think we can all agree on here that OEM performance things tend to be better than most of the after market offers especially for the price. that being said i took a look at them and they look pretty good so really its up to you.

For the coilovers, Id go with Mopar, especially if price is similar. They'll come with a better warranty than the Progress units and will be better seen by Dodge.
As for sway bars, you can adjust them individually (so yes you can replace jsut one or the other). Its just a matter of choice.

just remember the stiffer the rear the more oversteer and the stiffer the front the more understeer, i like to replace them in matching sets that way the car will keep its neutral balance.

I say be safe and go with Mopar, although I have tein suspension on my car (which is FWD), and it produces incredible handling and slight oversteer when i do start sliding.
