this brings up a good point.. and I have been pondering it a few days. When taking a car like the mini or even the SHOgun.. what do you do to the spring rates when you go from front engine/front wheel drive to mid engine/rear wheel drive?
Typically, front spring rates are higher. I assume this is for engine weight, to control inertia due to the engine weight, and for the simple fact that most cars when turning, send most of their weight forward to the outside front wheel due to weight transfer.. so what to do about midengined cars?
Are their spring rates higher in the rear than the front? Are they more or less even front to rear? or is it the same as every other car, higher rates up front?

from what i know because the engine is basically in the middle of the car the spring rates are basically almost even, i would go a little heavier on the back because of weight transfer.
