This Magazine has turned into crap! I've been a subscriber for 6 years, and eagerly wait every month for its delivery. In the past two years it has been going down the crapper! Whose great idea was it to turn a tuners publication into a Road and Track for sub $30,000 imports? Who cares how the new turbo Protégé drives. The majority of the readers can't afford a $400 monthly car payment and have excess cash to modify it. Further more, What the F is up with the USCC!?!?!? There was one page each (including pictures) to describe the mechanical makeup of the baddest street cars in the US? All they showed of the NSX was a Pic of it on the rack with the motor out. I'm done with this rag! Disgruntly yours, TurboMaxima

personally i like the magazine except i am totally sick of evo's and wrx's. who cares if they are great cars. I haven't seen one thats original in awhile. sometimes i think the magazine should change it's name to AWD monthly with an * that says "we have a honda in here also" and there is one ad that totally sucks, ok the ad doesn't suck, but the guy in the picture is a total......HE HAS ROSY CHEEKS, and makes me NOT want to even think about going to "University Technical Institute".

I have been an on-and-off subscriber since 2001... Tonight i was looking through some older issues.. Man those things were huge! Given, there were some 6page ads for NOPI or something but still. The content is good and it's been becoming more technical but I miss Coleman's craziness and I don't even know who is the editor or anything right now... It seems to change once every couple issues. What I do want to see is more real world cars as opposed to cars which look like they were built up by sponsors or rich people

I am so pissed at scc, I still like the magazine and can't stop subscribing, but it is a shell of its former self, It used to give hours of enjoyment back when most sport compacts pretty much sucked, now there are a ton of cool cars being made or available in the used market and each issue is good for like one trip to the toilet. I wouldnt even mind if they raised subscription prices for an extra 75 pages of good solid content, *** make half the pages B&W, I don't care, just quit making each issue about as thick as autoweek

dude, sure it's shorter. and more scc is NEVER a bad thing, but scc is still 100 times better than those other magazines. One of them had an article about how to install a wing, thats some intense tech. articles. lol and they have more pictures of girls than of cars. 15 year old kids just buy them because how else are they going to buy porn right in front of their parents?

The quality of the magazine has gone downhill. They no longer do relevant road/track tests with 1/4mile times, skidpad, etc. They always cover obscure dream cars, supra/skyline/sylvia that hardly anyone owns. They should focus on sport compact cars that people own and not review every new vehicle out. They should build up affordable vehicles that people actually have. I am not renewing when my subscription expires.

+1 to this. i actually wrote to them after recieving the newest issue, which was the 2nd in a row under 100 pages. I've got issues on the shelf dating back to 2001 that clear 300 pages. wtf happened to that?
i actually started reading some old issues from 2001-2002; its actually suprising how different they are. its gone from great articles like the 10+ page how-to swap an sr20 into an S13, or project rally focus to a couple pages of how they got a WRX ready for SEMA and all the new car coverage BS that we read in motor trend.
basically SCC has gone the way of the redesigned european car (which, btw SCC editors, i've cancelled with no remorse).

I dunno, I prefer when they do features on the more unique cars, like that 240Z from a few issues back. Turbo Hondas are a dime a dozen, not to mention the flood of WRXs and EVOs. That would be better if they also talked about 2.5RSs and OZ Rally Lancers. The good thing is that all the cars that they worked over years ago are finally becoming affordable now.

It's garbage, half of the cars they cover are either too expensive stock, or far too expensive now that they are modded. I honestly don't care about the new GTR, it's an 80 thousand dollar ugly ass car.Stop talking about it so much. Why don't you focus on making the slow cars fast, instead of showing cars whose limits are already well beyond the skills of the majority of your readers.
