2008 Lancer GTS mods

I'm looking to add some extra power to my Lancer, does anybody know who makes anything yet?  I'm looking to start off with a cold-air intake and maybe a cat-back system.  

From what i gather, there's very little mechanically different between the 07 Lancer (or Lancer Ralliart) and the 08 Lancers, so most parts should fit.  After taking a look at the engine bay, you may even be ab;e to get away with some Evo parts.

yea im looking for some performance upgrades as well. let me know if yall find anything. also, are there ANY body mods yet?  

It's too early for any real perfomance parts to be out for the '08 Lancer. Mitsubishi completely redesigned the Lancer lineup and, as far as I know, there are no parts that'll swap from the 02-07 Lancer/Evolution to the 08 Lancer. The engine is the brand new 4B11 which replaces the 4G63T in the Evo and whatever hamster wheel the old Lancer had in it. There's probably tuning companies working on making parts since the 4B11 will be used across the line in one form or another, but I don't think the aftermarket will be bringing anything out until the Evo X is on the market for a few months.

1995 Saab 900S 2.3L (Going autocrossing August 5th!)

I'm thinking about purchasing one...And what I'm trying to figure out is if the 4G63 motor will fit in the the engine bay of the GTS

They already have an intake, lowering springs, an axel back exhaust, etc.  I think they are one of the first to get stuff done for the new lancer.  They say the short ram intake they have takes a full second of your 0-60 time.  Check them out.  When you open their page click on the Mitsubishi symbol on the left to bring up their products.  

Thxs for that site roadracemotorsports.com Its preaty cool. Also for those hwo are looking to lower their car Tein has suspention for the 08 Lancer. but as far as performance parts Im having a hard time finding them. so if any1 could help that would be cool.

i have an 08 lancer. ES not gts  but the only difference from the gts and ES is some ground effects and fog lights. same motor same everything. i bought the cold air intake for it and installed it in about 20 mins. very easy... it sounds sick as *** too. i took it to the drag strip tonight. i ran 16.1's and 89 mph. i got the 5 speed but not the padel shifters. i cant wait for them to come out with more parts. i also talked to a few dealerships and the motor in the 08 evo is the same as the lancer and u will beable to big everything that is on the evo. that means same performents as the evo without insurence being threw the roof. which makes me happy cause im only 18..  

Are you sure that the 08 evo parts are going to be able to be used on the lancer?

The 08 Evo and regular Lancer use the same engine, the 4B11. Besides the turbo and accessories on the Evo's motor, there will probably be other differences such as the compression ratio and ECU tuning. Not all of the parts will swap, but most likely some will be swappable between the two. We'll just have to wait for the Evo X to come out to be sure.

Hey guys I just got the lancer on tuesday and I love it!  I just ordered th ecold air intake.  From road race motorsports, who has it on their car?  Did you notice a differnce?  Also Im thinking about the crank pully anyone have this mod yet?

has anyone lowered thir Lancer with the springs, Road/// Race Lancer G.R.I.P. Spring Kit 2008. Im not shore i'm happy with the drop comparecen the show on the web site. im looking for the wheel well to sit right on the tire. Can anyone let me know if they lowered their lancer.
