Yes i have a pic of a 2008 with a turbo. I dont have any specs on it but... our engine has 10to1 compression . you will have to replace the piston connecting rod to get serious ponies out of it 280 to 310 . your engine will last 4 to 8 drags on a 1/4 track. Or you can replace the head gasket and get maybe 9 to 1 and get decent hp about 250. in any case your warrenty is out the window. Because the head is not designed to take that kind of power. I am looking in to electric superchargers just to add 6psi and to get 173 to 203hp which in our car is alot considering i haven done anything to my car and i get 0-60 in 6.6 and with timing L to D just right i can get there in 6.4. I want to know what times people are getting with intake and exaust mods. there is a header out for our car.

There's a Greddy exhaust that's kinda pricey, I think around $420. And then I found one that's like half the price, dunno if its any good though. Check it out here: http://www.speed-element.com/servlet/Detail?no=166 Let me know what y'all think about it.

Everyone only knows about Roadrace? Try worksevo.com, and some others. The reason why there is only axle back and headers so far is that the middle section of the exhaust is 2.5" and its a straight pipe. So why bother changing that? That's as good as it gets, so save some money and pay $700 for your full exhaust instead of $1000. Fujita has a short ram intake, and Tein has two different spring kits out. Tanabe is coming out with springs and an axle back exhaust, and both Roadrace and WORKS are developing Turbo kits. WORKS said theirs will use OEM Mitsubishi EVO parts for their kit. Both companies have ECU programs, RRM has a piggyback, and WORKS has a flash. WORKS will also be working on sport programs for the CVT specifically. Here is a break down of what bolt ons would be typical for the beginner:
Short ram intake pulley headers axle-back ECU flash Springs Rear sway bar
Hope this helps.

whoever the genious was that said the EX GT is the same as the EVO was dropped as a child...there is no turbo in the EX GT...kinda makes it obvious right? Thanks for that last post about the WORKS website...I'm headed there now to check it out. I'm still waiting to hear anything as to a DEFINITE answer about the GTS being able to fit 19's???

No problem man, there are a lot of idiots posting things they know NOTHING about on this thread. I don't even know that much about tuning, but at least I know enough to stay away from Electric superchargers, LOL...what kind of an idiot would believe that infomercial crap? Hey Latino, didn't you ever watch the movie, Ladron que roba un Ladron?

He BlueGTS i never saw it and i still haven heard of any real number with the intake and exaust. however i did read a racing blog were a team actually used a real electric supercharger, not that stupid inline air duck thing, but a real supercharger.only problem was it needed 8 12 v batteries to run and it could only run for 25 seconds to get that extra boost...then you have to recharge the batteries. it cost about a price of a normal supercharger too LOL. just letting you all know that there is a real electric supercharger that offsets and performance gains by having 8 batteries in trunk.

Mazda calls it an electricly assisted turbo. they were going to use it in the rotory hybrid in 2004.

hopupracing.com usually has a lot of stuff for lots of cars. didnt find too much specifically for the Lancer 08, but if the older models and the evo are compatible, then there is a lot of stuff there.

i have multiple scratches on my tint. they run vertically, nearly the length of my window. i thought i got some dust inside the window, but it must be a factory defect to be on both doors. that is bull if they will not address this issue.

the point to when you tune a car is having fun in it and not worrying if your going to end up short. Have you considered getting up to 1.0 lateral gs? (or close) with a properly setup suspension even a few bolt-ons can make your car fun as hell when all four wheels are solidly planted on the pavement. get light (yet durable) rims, sticky tires, sway bars, coilovers, valved shocks, and some polyurethane bushings can go a long way towards your fun driving desires. Hell My old Z did about .88g's stock and I never wanted anything more than going 126mph on a mountain road on my bridgestone Potenzas. If you do all of that make sure you aling your suspension everytime you mess with ride height and spring rates.
