With everone talking about how they would rather the uscc represent what they drive, why not make a "lightweight" class with the rules that they must remain NA be a 4 cyl. and have an original msrp of under 29,000(to keep expensive s2000's and loti from dominating), retain a full interior and factory engine location/drivetrain orientatioin and run on street tires. This way you can have the megabuck uscc cars which are cool and all, plus a bunch of cars that most of the readers can strive to actually own.

all then you are going to see is cars that are not driveable. high na power is never very streetable. USCC format is fine. It is ultimate street car challange and will remain so.

I love this idea. If I could see a car that I could actually own. SCC needs to have my car in the contest. I have a 1997 Turbo Forester. That right Forester. Right side drive JDM special.

there have been a few cars in the uscc that were cars me and you could afford. They might not have won but they are there sometimes. I didn't see them this year but last year there were a couple.

I'm tired of everyone claiming that the USCC doesn't fairly represent what many people have. That's because it's the ULTIMATE Street Car Competion, not "Ultimate Face-Off of Cars That Aren't Really That Fast But Were Cheaper Than Ramen Noodles". You can't make the ultimate street car for $5,000 by ingeniously using the "fluid measurement device from a 1958 Toyota Crown Royal"
