I co-drove Project SE-R cross-country and it is simply the most amazing car I've ever driven, even with 200 lbs of gear and 4 extra tires in the car!

The highlight of the trip was getting to meet Josh J. and Dave, they really are stand-up guys, and their influence on the magazine is definitely missed.

When Josh left, I let my subscription lapse.  I was considering re-subscribing just for Dave's column, but now that is gone, too.  Now I just get GrassRoots Motorsports instead, it's along the lines of what SCC used to be.

this magazine is poop now.  i'll read turbo anyday over scc.  what ever happened t oall the cheap cars that weren't in style.  i'm personally sick of seeing evo's in every issue.  the worst part is i buy it every month with a little bit of hope that it will get better and every month i'm let down.
so i'll say this *** scc.  *** them up there ass.

stupid ***

thanks

ptieu:
How did you get your hands on a former SCC project?

Not 9k, your over by about double.  Dave C posted it for sale on eBay, he mentioned he was going to in so many words in the last article on the car.

Now it looks like we're losing the entire mag, I hate being right in my comments above:

Hey, you got your wish.

Too bad - the Jan 2009 issue was better by a long shot than any in a long time, Dog Car II and some old school project cars that didn't have "Evo" in the title.

Dave Coleman works for Mazda, making better Mazdas.  Josh works for Edmunds Inside Line.

Next time I see Dave, I will have to let him know people want to read what he writes.
