i need s2000 info and help from a S2K owner

I am currently driving a 06 Hyundai Sonata (3.3l V6). It has a nice sized motor but it just will not do. I am very interested in finding my way into semi-professional or even professional racing, whether it be drift, time attack, or even rally... i like it all. I am VERY interested in honda S2Ks, but i need more information on them from someone who actually owns or has owned one. I plan to make a few air flow mods such as air intake, headers, exhaust ect. and maybe later on a turbo install. But i dont want a 800hp daily driver so thats as far as it goes. I need to know how they drive, can i drive it on a usual basis or do i need to keep it garaged while not driving on a track. I guess i really just need to know if they are worth the investment.
