buying first car! advice, tips, and opinions please!!

im currently in the process of buying my first car, my budget is below 20k. im looking for a sporty car that has enough potential that i could upgrade and tune later on when i can afford it. any advice tips ideas or opinions would be great!

lancer evo , honda s2000 ,acura integra those are pretty good cars then you will have enough money left over to tune it or buy body kits or rims etc.

well the evo and s2k could be a bit pricey but i'm sure you could get an integra relatively cheap with enough money to put some working into it. also a 240sx if you can find one and they have alot of potential.
