about project srt 4

i think you should let it die it had its fun now bring back project svt focus if it is still around please give focus owners a lil time in the sun also i would love to have my svt focus in readers ride section of your mag one day just some wishful thinking  

Nahhh you should'nt let it die!! Personately i would say, bring more American Compacts in Modified Mag... The world is allready having more then it's share of civics, Sentras, supras, integras, etc... Let's get Project Neon, SRT-4, SVT Focus and why not a project Cobalt SS-T??  

Why would you let that baby rot? I'd say put some more life in it if you want it to see the street again because you'd never know what Mother Mopar's SRT offspring (or even the GM brass band and the Blue Oval Brigade) may bring to you guys. Besides, I'm already sick of seeing way too many Hondas, Acuras, Nissans, Mitsus, Toyotas, and the like getting all the attention. Abandoning it is for the birds. Updating it with more go fast goodies would be a logical choice. In other words, keep it forever. Why should imports have all the fun?

You are kidding about killing it right? The SRT-4 Neon is the best bang for your buck and they look sweet as hell. If your smart and decide to keep it id like to see this beautiful car doing 10's down the track. Slicks on the front,stage 3 turbo with a little bit of spray not to much though. I agree with cobrajet we need more domestic cars even if its a cobalt in octobers issues. Ive read alot of tuner mags over the past 7 years and i really dont see alot domestics.  

It's a KEEPER! It's the last great car that dodge ever made, plus the all the tuner magazine out there need a wider variety of cars covered. If fact ditch the interga so you'll have more cash for the SRT-4!  

the srt4 is definatly a car that should be a project in your mag, its a great car along with other great cars, it has ups and downs like any other car out there, it makes great power, it responds well with power adders, and tell ya the truth, with power adders it still great on gas, yes definatly i would love to see the srt in the next issue, i would love to see the ait wide body kit in use  

I think It should be kept!!!! Ive been a long time reader of Modified, As always I love it and keep up the good work. But, getting rid of the fact that I own and drive a custom neon, it is one of the few true american sport compacts. It has a huge fan following and there are hardly no stories, techs, or articles on the neon or srt-4. I would hate to see it go and have always loved reading and re-reading the issues were it has been talked about....  

My question is in regards to the Project Scion Tc that Sport compact Car was working on? What happened to that car was it ever finished. I own a Scion so I followed that build and was left hanging.  

Only thing I really recall from Ford focuses..  had a buddy once, who had one of these once, put all kinds of money into motor, still ran 15's, bought SRT-4, spent same money for car and on parts if not less, SRT4 go low 13's on street tires...   and u know, maybe im being ignorant, but I can honestly say i HATE Ford.

Also, go look up ur own showdown for the SRT-4...  ud easily be convinced it'd be fun to watch one against its beefy "super car" brother, The Viper... or hell even a Cummins.. are u serious sikSVT?

Oh yea, and u know..  evryone and their mother is currently "building" a Honda Civic/Prelude/Integra(yea Acura, same thing), so why is Modified makin these ricer boys and their wings look bad with their clean as hell rides..? lol  

the only thing i am saying put the two cars on a track that involves turns and the srt-4 will be lost a car shouldnt be about straight line performance it should be more well rounded  

Well i dont have the Neon SRT-4 but by the time i was able to get one , it turned into the Caliber SRT-4. Until i actually saw it i was questioning how it would look cause the caliber is soo ugly and they stop making the neon SRT in 2005 but when dodge called to say they had one in i had to see it.Wow what a hot looking SRT it was.I took it to the track and wath a huge difference in handling compared to the neon. Its like they took all the problems the Neon SRT-4 had (wich wasnt much) and made a new but last version of the SRT-4. It is very safe and i took it to the track , Hitting 150km/h in third gear was awesome but the handling was phenomenal. She can really hold the road and the 280hp engine can really get you going.Instead of resurecting an old beast why not Modify the 2008 to 2009 Caliber SRT-4 and show that Mopar still has what it takes in the turbo fourbanger era but the NEON SRT-4 will always go down in history as the first american import eater  

If they were to do a ford focus , i say they should get there hands on a euro focus RS cause that thing is very nice and tons of power. It would be a great addition to the north american ford family.
