I just picked up a 1995 S14 (stock headlights)and was wondering if there are any good companies that sell kits to upgrade the headlights. We have some very twisty roads and there are deer all over the place so this is mostly about safety (and if the lights look cool that doesn't hurt either)

Unique Coatings & Automotive Lighting Specialtys, there a good company to work with. You can send them your lights and they can do a retro fit of projectors into your housings. Look them up on the web.

Do I need to get my headlights fitted for projecters or can I just replace the bulbs with a HID xenon kit? If anyone knows of some good videos or pictures of this on an S14, let me know. BTW thanks for the tip on that site, it looks good.

I got my HID kit from http://www.xenithxenons.com/. They're cheap and good. All I had to do was mount the ballasts and put in the bulb. I also wired in a relay so that my HIDs stay on when I turn on my high beams

What size bulbs go in the stock s14 hedlights? Are they really plug-and-play or do you need to modify the headlight assembly?

I'm still looking for a way to turn my headlights into projectors and I saw something about the Infiniti J30 projectors being modified for the S14. Has anybody done this and if so how hard was it to do?

Here's a writeup for retrofitting S2000 projectors into Zenki headlamps to give you an idea of the work involved...definitely worth it!

Very interesting article. I'm keeping the headlight assembly stock Zenki. The article showed the mods done on Kouki headlights. I don't have time or money to do a Kouki style front end so I'm wondering if this has been done with the stock Zenki lights. Thanks for any info.

Oops, my mistake. It was done on a kouki but it is still pretty much the same work involved (except you have to add on a clear lens).

Clear lens to replace the dull plastic ones? I miss the nice glass headlights from my old S13. I thought with the popularity of HID and Nissan 240sx's, it would be easy to find pre-made S14 projectors already assembled. I didn't know I would have to do some fab work, not that I mind. Any more leads is appreciated.

I found some new clear lenses now I just need some ideas on the best projectors. The TSX route looks good and I was wondering what other people have used as far as projectors. I have seen some with the built in angel eye rings and was wondering what folks recommend when it comes to installing them. Post links if you have good examples.

I found some clear covers on Enjuku Racing. They also have OEM glass zenki headlights but those are pretty expensive. For right now I just buffed out the stock lenses and put in some brighter bulbs until I get some more ideas on what I want to do.
