'Tuner' decision

Hello all, I am looking to sell my sedan and get a 'tuner' that will be fun and reliable!
It's a three-way race at the moment: 2001 Honda Prelude 115k miles vs. 2000 Toyota Celica GT low 100k miles vs. 2002 Acura RSX Type-S 74k miles. All of these are under $7k.
Any input would be much appreciate! I want the best overall car that is still reliable for day-to-day driving. Thank you.

The Prelude is what I would go for. You can't go wrong with any of those choices so whatever you pick enjoy! Best of luck!

Thank you! Now I have to figure out how I can get my hands dirty and start learning on other cars so that I can work on mine. I love working with my hands but my family doesn't have spare change to spend, so any advice on how I can start learning hands-on? I want to work on cars and race! Thank you.

Sure, I started taking apart my dadys car. He goes on business trips and left me his 96 Protege to drive and I just started taking stuff off and putting it back on and learned quite a bit. I miss that car but you know what they say...off to bigger and better things. Just take some tools and pull stuff off and put them back on is about all I can say. Start with the intake, do your brakes, thats a solid foundation.

A nice pre 94 nissan 240sx is a frugal way to get a tuner.
