It developed a rod knock at 138.000 miles and I don't have the cash to swap an engine or the time to rebuild it. Here's a little info: 1986 is the first year Celica and Supra split. Celica being moved to a FWD format but the Supra retained the RWD format. The Supra's came factory with a 3.0 l6, engine code 7M-GE, making about 200whp. This was a year before factory turbo and targa tops were an option. The factory automatic transmission came with a device called ECT. It lets you tell the car how to shift. Normal and Power are your options. Something similar is available with the suspension. Normal and Sport are the options. Normal gave a softer, more comfortable ride and Sport stiffened the struts for more aggressive handling. In the form of fully electronic seat adjustment including inflatable lumbar support came the creature comforts. All around this is a luxury sports car. It is rare to find one with a body in this nice of shape. There are 3 surface rust spots the size of a pea and I don't have a rear wiper blade. The interior is also flawless. At this point I'd probably take $800 for it or trade for a running vehicle. Call me at 865-306-0644 for more info and pictures. I have another ad up on craigslist under the same title that has pictures of the car. I can tow it just about anywhere in the Knoxville area.
